KPN Expands Indus Solution to Improve Efficiencies in Mobile Service Workforce

ATLANTA - Sept. 15, 2005--Indus International Inc. (NASDAQ: IINT), a leading Service Delivery Management (SDM) solution provider, today announced that Royal KPN, the Netherlands-based international fixed line and mobile communication solutions provider, is substantially improving the service performance of its mobile division with an extended SDM solution from Indus.

KPN originally implemented Indus' service optimization solution in its fixed line division in 2003 to improve customer service and productivity while reducing service operation costs. KPN realized a saving of significant costs in man hours across a division of 650 service professionals, by improving efficiencies in its planning and scheduling of work and dispatching of products. Following the introduction of a new, more advanced offering in 2004, KPN's mobile division is expanding to support double the number of tasks handled by the SDM solution. Following the success in the fixed line division, KPN implemented the Indus SDM solution in its mobile division to improve efficiencies and productivity of its existing workforce, rather than having to employ more field engineers to cope with this increased workload.

Indus SDM provides a robust field service management and optimization solution which enables companies to improve customer satisfaction while lowering the cost of delivery. The SDM solution has also substantially improved communication with KPN's field staff, enabling real-time management of field service engineers to meet client service level agreements by deploying the right people at just the right time, with the appropriate materials required to complete the job.

KPN said: "We are dedicated to the highest levels of service quality for our customers, and Indus is a long-term partner in helping us achieve our goals. The Indus software is proven and reliable, and it also allows our service teams to achieve more with fewer resources, which helps us drive profitable growth. Our field engineers have already improved their productivity by at least 15 percent since implementing the Indus Service Delivery Management solution."

Indus President and CEO Greg Dukat said, "The notion of reinventing service while reducing costs is crucial to organizations that are looking for new revenue streams. Service represents a significant opportunity for revenue, and our SDM solutions deliver the automation and efficiencies needed to realize that value. The significant benefits that KPN has seen are indicative of the power of Service Delivery Management -- for telecommunications companies, utilities, manufacturers, managed service providers and numerous other industries."
