NEEDHAM, Mass., Jan. 9 – Brooktrout Technology, Inc., a leading supplier of media processing and call control products, today announced that it has dramatically simplified fax servers for Voice-over-IP (VoIP) networks by teaming with several of its partners to deliver the SR140™ real-time Fax over IP (FoIP) software-only fax solution. In conjunction with network fax applications from companies including Arcosoft, AVM Informatique, Cascom, FaxBack, FaxCore, Inc., SoftLinx, Systems Solutions, and RTE, Brooktrout's IP-based SR140 provides the same level of simplicity and confirmation as a traditional PSTN-based fax solution, but with the added benefits of transmitting fax over VoIP networks.
